We'll be at San Diego Startup Week on November 6

It's hard to judge a controller from a video. You can see what the M1X looks like online, but not how the faders feel, how the knob clicks, or how quickly the screen reacts when you press something. You have to try it.

So we're bringing it to San Diego Startup Week. We'll have a table on Friday, November 6, the last day of the week, and you're welcome to pick one up and play with it.

To be upfront: it's a ticketed conference and we don't run it, so we can't get anyone in for free. If you're already going, come find us.

What's on the table

Two working units and two mock-ups, so there shouldn't be much of a line. The working ones run on their own, with no laptop, no app and no internet connection. Everything you see on the screen is coming from the device itself.

You can control Spotify from it, try the macro keys, and move the faders around as much as you like. If something feels slow or cheap, we'd honestly like to hear about it now, before the campaign, not after.

The giveaway

We're giving away one M1X to someone who stops by. Follow us on Instagram and scan the code at the table to enter. You don't have to buy or reserve anything. We'll have the full details at the table.

If you want to reserve one

You can do it right there with the QR code or our card reader (both work even if the venue wi-fi doesn't). Plenty of people will just stop by and try it, and that's great too.

Why we're doing this

Our Kickstarter opens on November 23, a couple of weeks after Startup Week. Backing a hardware campaign means trusting photos and a promise, and we'd rather people get to hold the real thing first and decide for themselves.
